CRJ 256 Criminal Investigation

Emphasis is placed on the special techniques most appropriate for particular kinds of investigations, including arson, burglary, robbery, electronic-based crime, homicide, and other crimes. Constitutional aspects of investigative procedures are discussed along with procedures for interviewing and recording statements of witnesses and suspects. Prerequisite: CRJ 101.
