OFC 117 Introduction to Microsoft Office

Students learn to use a personal computer for personal or professional productivity. Using lecture and hands-on applications, this course presents computer hardware and software at an introductory level. Students learn to use the Microsoft Windows operating system and become familiar with Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). Use of the Internet and e-mail is also presented. Prerequisite: OFC 102 or a demonstrated keyboarding speed of 20 words per minute. Three lecture hours per week. Instructional Support Fee applies.
